Inter chief says Vidal’s future may depend on Valverde
Beppe Marotta says they are in talks for the midfielder
Inter Milan chief executive Beppe Marotta has been talking about the club’s interest in Arturo Vidal and has confirmed they are in talks for the Barcelona midfielder.
Interestingly, Marotta also said that the Chile international’s future at the club may depend on whether manager Ernesto Valverde stays on as manager or not.
Inter CEO Marotta about Arturo Vidal: “He’d be an important player for us. We’re in talks with Barcelona but it’ll depend by many factors... I’m told Barça manager Valverde position is under discussion at the club so we’ll see what will happen”. #Barcelona #Inter #Vidal

Reports on Friday have stated that Barcelona have offered Xavi a contract and want the club legend to replace Valverde as manager after Thursday’s defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Valverde has said recently he’s counting on Vidal and wants to keep him at the club, and it seems the midfielder must decide on whether to stay at Barca or head to Inter Milan where he may be offered more game time.
