The youngster has caught the eye in La Liga

Barcelona are reportedly pretty keen on Valencia winger Ferran Torres and reckon they could bring him to the Camp Nou for €35 million.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan giants are in close contact with his representatives because they also handle Pedri, who is due to join Barca in the summer.

Torres has enjoyed a good season in La Liga with Valencia. The 20-year-old has featured in almost every league game for Los Che and contributed four goals and four assists.

His contract at the Mestalla expires next summer and he’s already rejected two renewal offers which suggests he could be tempted away from the club.

Valencia boss Albert Celades said recently he was hopeful they could convince him to stay amid reported interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid.

MD report Barcelona were interested in him a few years back but it was felt Valencia was the best place for him to develop as a player.

Barcelona hardly lack for midfield options but could see a few players depart in the summer, with Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic at the top of the list.
