Barca turned down €65m bid for Sergi Roberto - report
The bid came in last summer but was rejected
Barcelona reportedly turned down a €65 million offer for Sergi Roberto last summer and refused to sell despite receiving plenty of interested in the utility man.
The 28-year-old was considered a key part of the squad at the time which is why the offer was rejected but all that has now changed, according to Marca.
Indeed Barca are now said to be “willing to listen to offers” to the Spaniard, although interestingly the report says they haven’t actually told Roberto that.
Sport reported over the weekend that Roberto is wanted by Juventus and could be used as part of the Lautaro Martinez deal.
Yet it’s unclear if Roberto could be tempted away from the club he has been at since arriving at La Masia as a 14-year-old.
He’s one of the club’s four captains and is contracted to the club until June 2022.
