The PSG duo are reportedly wanted at Camp Nou

Saturday’s papers are full of Barcelona rumors once again with Paris Saint-Germain duo Layvin Kurzawa and Neymar all over the front pages.

Sport have gone with ‘Bargain’ Kurzawa and reckon he’s a serious option to come to Barcelona if Junior Firpo is shipped out after just one season at the Camp Nou.

This is a bit of an odd rumor that seems to be gaining traction. Sport say one reason is because he changed agents, to Kia Joorabchian, in February.

Barca’s plan seems to be to bring in some cash by selling Junior and then signing Kurzawa on a free transfer as back-up to Jordi Alba. Kurzawa would reportedly be happy with a bit-part role.

Arsenal and Napoli are also said to be keen on Kurzawa, while Barca are in no rush to do a deal because of the current coronavirus pandemic and the uncertainty it has brought.

Over at Mundo Deportivo the front page is again devoted to Neymar and the headline ‘Neymar Confidential.’

MD report Barca made a pact with the Brazilian in 2019 to stop him moving to Real Madrid by promising they’d either sign him that summer or this year.

Neymar was desperate to leave PSG and would have considered heading to the Santiago Bernabeu, although it’s stated his preference was always to return to the Camp Nou.

Yet Barca could not convince PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to sell Neymar despite offering Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo, Ousmane Dembélé on loan and €130m.

MD reckon the promise still stands and Barcelona will try again to do all they can to bring Neymar back to the Camp Nou in August after three years at PSG.
