Rumors: Todibo, Onana, Miranda & Willian latest

German DFB Pokal”FC Schalke 04 v Bayern Munchen”

Another day, another bucketload of gossip

Schalke want another Todibo loan

Today’s rumors start with news that Schalke definitely can’t afford to sign Jean-Clair Todibo in the summer and will instead try to secure him on loan for 2020-21.

Sport report they will make an offer to Barcelona but may find it difficult to convince the Catalan giants it’s a good idea.

Apparently other clubs are interested in buying the defender and Barca want to cash in on him this summer.

Miranda to cut short Schalke loan

Left-back Juan Miranda is also on loan at Schalke, indeed a two-year loan, but is likely to cut that short and return to Barcelona in the summer.

According to Sport, he can leave the German club early because he has not played the required amount of games this season.

Schalke are said to want him to stay, but it seems Miranda is seriously thinking about heading home.

Barcelona in ‘constant contact’ with Onana

Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo bring news that Barcelona are in ‘constant contact’ with Ajax over a possible move for goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Marc Overmars has apparently promised Onana he can leave if a good offer arrives, and Barca have him in mind as a back-up for Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Inaki Pena to go out on loan if Neto stays

Over at Sport there is more news about Barcelona goalkeepers. They report that Barca B’s Inaki Pena will be sent out on loan next season if Neto stays at the Camp Nou.

Manager Quique Setien is set to be a big fan of the youngster, but the club are contemplating sending him away to gain some regular football.

Pena had offers to leave in the January transfer window which the club turned down because they wanted him to help get Barca B promoted.

Barca turn down Willian

And finally today we end with yet another Willian rumor. Apparently the Chelsea winger has been offered to Barcelona, but the club have turned him down.

The Brazilian looks set to leave Stamford Bridge as a free agent in the summer, but Barca aren’t interested because they think he’s too old and have other priorities.

PSG and Tottenham have been linked with the 31-year-old who is said to want a three-year deal and a big wage.
