Celta president not giving up hope of signing Rafinha
The Brazilian spent the season on loan at Balaidos
Celta Vigo president Carlos Mourinho is not giving up hope that his side can land Rafinha in the summer transfer window.
The Brazilian has spent the season on loan at Balaidos, making 29 appearances in La Liga for the Galicians.
It’s been reported Celta want to keep him but can’t meet Barca’s asking price, but Mourinho says finance is not an issue and they remain hopeful of doing a deal.
“There will be no economic problem. Rafinha is happy here, but is a player who suffered a lot during the season. If everything had gone better, he would be even more eager than when he arrived a year ago. We have to wait a little.”

Celta are coming off the back of a tough season where they only escaped relegation on the final day by a single point. Meanwhile, Barcelona are said to want a fee of €16 million for the 27-year-old.
