Ansu & Dest shortlisted for 2020 Golden Boy award
The duo are among the final 20
Barcelona duo Ansu Fati and Segino Dest have both been included on the final 20-man shortlist for the prestigious Golden Boy award for 2020.
The award is organised by Italian newspaper Tuttosport and handed out every year to the best player under the age of 21 playing in Europe’s top leagues.
Ansu has unsurprisingly caught the attention after making the breakthrough at Barcelona and forcing his way into the Spain national team.
The 17-year-old became Spain’s youngest goalscorer in September when he netted against Ukraine in the Nations League.
Sergino Dest is also on the list after impressing for Ajax in the Eredivisie before his recent move to the Camp Nou.

The list has been reduced from 100 to 20 ahead of the announcement of who has won which is due to be made on December 14.
Joao Felix scooped the award last time out, but the current favorite seems to be Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
