Sergio Ramos missed two penalties

Sergio Busquets asked to be substituted due to injury in the second half of Spain’s Nations League clash with Switzerland on Saturday night.

The Barcelona midfielder went off on 72 minutes and was replaced by Koke after going down holding his left leg.

Spain went behind in the game with Switzerland midfielder Remo Freuler opening the scoring after 26 minutes.

Sergio Ramos looked set to equalize from the penalty spot just before the hour after a handball in the penalty area but saw his kick saved by goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Incredibly, the Real Madrid captain then missed a second spot-kick with 10 minutes to go. Yet again Sommer came out on top, saving a rather team effort from the defender.

Spain did manage to rescue a point late on through Gerard Moreno. The Villarreal striker levelled from close range in the 89th minute after a good cross from Sergio Reguilon.
