The striker’s agent has been talking to Barcelona today

Things are getting spicy. Borussia Dortmund boss Michael Zorc spoke out on Thursday in the wake of reports Mino Raiola has met with Barcelona president Joan Laporta.

The very public agent of Erling Haaland was spotted in Barcelona and later at Real Madrid amid speculation the striker will move this summer. Zorc made it clear how his club views the situation.

“I spoke to Mino Raiola. We’ve made our intentions very clear. No problem when Alfie and Mino want to take a sunbathe on the Mediterranean Sea. I am relaxed because I know what we want!”

There’s no question that if Dortmund continue to hold onto Haaland for say, another season, his value may continue to rise, although there are reports he has a buyout clause in his contract that comes into effect next summer. The real risk associated with that is obviously injury and at some point teams will only pay so much for a player, especially amidst an economic recovery.
