The midfielder is set to leave the Camp Nou

Barcelona midfielder Álex Collado has been allowed to leave the club’s training camp in Germany to sort out his future, it was announced on Sunday.

Collado was surprisingly left out of Saturday’s friendly against Stuttgart and was given zero minutes by Ronald Koeman, but now it seems more clear that a decision on his future had already been made before the game.

There are very little details at this moment on where Collado will go and what type of deal it will be, but things should move quickly if he has already said goodbye to his teammates. Collado was hoping for a chance with the first team in this preseason but quickly saw his minutes go to new signing Yusuf Demir.

Collado finished last season with 8 goals and 3 assists as the captain of Barça B, and has been viewed as a future first team star. But it looks as though he will try and be a star somewhere else.
