OFFICIAL: Cubarsi renews Barcelona contract until 2029
Another one done and dusted
Barcelona have announced that Pau Cubarsi has become the latest young star to commit his future to the Catalan giants.
The 18-year-old defender has penned a contract renewal at the club that runs until 2029 and follows in the footsteps of Pedri, Gavi and Ronald Araujo.

Cubarsi only signed a contract until 2027 just last year but Barca had been keen to extend it even further due to his incredible performances.
The defender has just turned 18 and already seems to be Hansi Flick’s first-choice center-back at Barcelona over Ronald Araujo, Inigo Martinez and Andreas Christensen.
Barcelona have prioritised contract renewals for their top stars this season, after returning to the 1:1 rule, and have another key player ticked off the list now.
A long-term extension for Lamine Yamal is also expected shortly, while Barcelona are also hoping to offers fresh terms to Raphinha after a brilliant season for the Brazilian.
