Barca may miss out on Tah as Araujo expected to stay

The futures of the two defenders are in the spotlight
Jonathan Tah has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona this summer, with some reports even claiming an agreement to sign the defender on a free transfer is practically a done deal.
However, it seems that may not be the case at all and that Barcelona may not even go for Tah at the end of the season.
According to Cadena SER, Tah’s arrival is “far from a done deal” and it all depends on the future of Ronald Araujo.
The Uruguayan had been expected to leave in the summer but Barca “now believe that he will stay” which means there will be no room for Tah.
Barca’s four center-backs for next season would therefore be Araujo, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez and Eric Garcia - with Andreas Christensen expected to move on.
Araujo is seen as a better option than Tah, although there are still a few doubts over his future, particularly as his release clause drops to €65m at the start of the transfer window.
