‘Special day’ – Jan Virgili reacts to Barcelona reunion
Jan Virgili came up against his former team on Saturday as he faced Barcelona with Real Mallorca at the Camp Nou.
The winger enjoyed himself during the match, giving Barcelona plenty of problems, and took to social media after the game to share a selection of pictures from the game.
Virgili included one of him giving Hansi Flick a hug and added the caption: “Special day, keep working.”
There’s already been talk that Virgili is in Barcelona’s thoughts ahead of the summer transfer window as they have the right to first refusal on the youngster, and his post is likely to get the rumor mill very excited.
Flick was asked about Virgili before the game and told his pre-match press conference: “What I can say is what I see, which is that he’s doing a great job at Mallorca. I’m very happy for him.”
Virgili has already been tipped to move on in the summer and may not lack for offers if he can continue to shine in La Liga.
