Inter Milan pursue Arturo Vidal - report

A reunion with Antonio Conte could be in the cards

Arturo Vidal is in Inter Milan’s sights, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. New manager Antonio Conte is looking for a reunion with the Chilean, who was a key piece of his Juventus side.

Radja Nainggolan is said to be out of favor at Internazionale, and the Italians see Vidal as a perfect reinforcement for midfield.

According to the report, Barcelona are willing to part with the player for a fee between 20 and 22 million euro. However, the Catalans will only let him go if a fee is agreed upon by mid-July, which would give the club enough time to seek a replacement.

It would necessitate a quick turnaround time to complete the deal, but it’s certainly possible. The good relationship between the two clubs as well as Vidal’s trust in Conte could facilitate the transfer.

Barcelona welcomed a new midfielder recently, with Frenkie de Jong finally being officially presented after the signing was announced during the middle of last season.
