The extent of the injury is not yet fully known

Ousmane Dembélé will not play until 2020, missing el Clásico, according to Diario AS. While tests are still to be done to confirm his injury, initial reports suggest the Frenchman has a tear in his biceps of his right leg, which would put him out for five weeks.

In addition, it seems this injury is a relapse of an old injury he suffered last season. He will miss a minimum of six matches, including against Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid, if that is the case. His return would come on January 4th against Espanyol, at the earliest.

Another problem is the psychological aspect. Dembélé was pictured crying as he exited the pitch yesterday. Will he be able to get back to his best not just physically, but mentally?

Dembélé has had terrible luck since joining Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund when it comes to injuries. This is just the latest setback for the iwnger.
