Barcelona not keen on Tonali

Today’s rumors start with news that Barcelona have been offered Bresica starlet Sandro Tonali but aren’t too keen on the midfielder.

Mundo Deportivo report the 19-year-old is expected to cost around €60m, which has put Barcelona off, although they may change their mind if players could be included.

Yet that’s likely to be a problem too with Brescia currently bottom of Serie A and likely to be relegated from the Italian top flight.

Napoli can’t afford Samuel Umtiti

Over in Italy, Gazzetta dello Sport report that it is extremely unlikely defender Samuel Umtiti will move to Napoli in the summer transfer window.

The Serie A side have realised they simply can’t afford the Frenchman and have pretty much given up on trying to sign the World Cup winner.

Gennaro Gattuso’s side are instead thinking about Freiburg defender Robin Koch who is a more affordable option.

Barcelona struggling to afford Lautaro deal

Staying in Italy and Sky Sport Italia (via Football Italia) reckon Barcelona are struggling to figure out exactly how they can afford Lautaro Martinez’s €111m release clause.

The clause is only valid for two weeks in July and must be paid all in one go which seems to be the problem.

Barca are still trying to convince Inter to include players in the deal but so far have not come up with a plan that floats Inter’s boat

Roma interested in Junior Firpo

Left-back Junior Firpo has also attracted interest and is wanted by Roma, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Barcelona are willing to sell the defender after just one season at Camp Nou but would want a fee of around €25m.

Neto is in demand

And finally Sport bring word that Neto has plenty of offers to leave Barcelona in the summer and is likely to wave goodbye to the Camp Nou.

The Brazilian is wanted by Real Betis and former club Valencia as well as clubs in England and Italy.

Barcelona want €22m for their back-up goalkeeper which Betis may struggle to reach although they could get close enough to do a deal.
