Arturo Vidal to Inter Miami?
Today’s rumors start with more news about Arturo Vidal and a report that David Beckham’s Inter Miami could be a potential destination for the Chile international.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the midfielder could be the man to lead the new MLS club’s charge and is highly regarded because of his “character and mental strength.”
Newcastle United are also said to be interested in the 32-year-old, while Quique Setien remains a fan and may try to keep him at the Camp Nou.
Barcelona to loan out Oriol Busquets again
Over at Marca the word is that Barcelona want to loan out Oriol Busquets to a first division team somewhere in Europe to gain more experience.
The youngster has been on loan at FC Twente this season, but his campaign is now over because the 2019-20 Eredivisie campaign has been cancelled.
Marca reckon Busquets is part of Barcelona’s long-term plans, but they want him to continue gaining first-team experience.
Coutinho could stay at Barcelona
Back to Sport who bring news that Philippe Coutinho could stay at Barcelona despite all the speculation to the contrary.
The Catalan giants are thinking of keeping hold of the Brazilian because it’s not a great time to sell and because Setien thinks he could still become a key player at the Camp Nou.
Barca can’t really afford to send him out on loan again, while Coutinho would be happy to be given a second chance.
Barcelona want to loan Umtiti
And sticking with Sport there’s a fresh update on Samuel Umtiti’s future and news Barca really are keen to get him off the wage bill.
The defender has been up for sale but clubs have baulked at his €50m price tag, while his huge wages are also a real problem.
Umtiti wants to stay at Barcelona but the club are thinking about a loan with a mandatory purchase option.
