Barcelona can’t afford to sign Lautaro - Zamorano
The ex-striker says Barca have ‘economic problems’
Former Inter Milan striker Ivan Zamorano says Barcelona can’t afford to sign Lautaro Martinez and reckons the Argentina international will end up staying at the San Siro.
The 22-year-old has seemingly emerged as Barcelona’s top summer target, but Zamorano thinks it’s unlikely he will make the switch to the Camp Nou.
“Barcelona have economic problems that don’t allow them to sign Lautaro, in my opinion he’ll stay, I have no doubt. Cavani can be an alternative to the starters.
“There are many rumours, Sanchez will return to Manchester United and Cavani can occupy that space in the forward department. But I guarantee that Lautaro is the future of Inter.”
“Barcelona must put €100 million on the table, which is the least that Inter has asked for Lautaro. Conte likes Vidal very much, for sure, but first they have to offer €100 million.”

Martinez certainly won’t come cheap if he does move on this summer. It seems as though talks are continuing between the two clubs, although reports have suggested Martinez is keen to come and wants to link up with Lionel Messi.
