WATCH: Messi destroys all of his teammates in training

The captain looks hungry

We are just a little over two weeks away from the return of La Liga, and Barcelona are stepping up their training to be as close to 100% as they can be to play football again. And if there’s one Barça player who is very much ready to play again, it’s club captain Lionel Messi.

Instead of telling you how good he looks, I just invite to watch the following 19-second video:

In the video we see Messi tracking back and recovering the ball from poor Riqui Puig with a flying tackle, running as fast as he can to receive a pass, then making a one-two with Jordi Alba and scoring his trademark “let me just slowly run with the ball and wait for all the defenders and the goalkeeper to fall to the ground before I just chip everyone” goal.

Messi is ready.
