The Dutchman will switch if he gets the signings he’s asked for

Ronald Koeman’s future at Barcelona is attracting all sorts of headlines currently with doubts persisting over whether he will see out his two-year deal at the Camp Nou.

The latest update suggests the Dutchman is set to make changes if he does stay on and continue as Barcelona boss in 2021-22.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Koeman is willing to switch back to a 4-3-3 formation if he is given the reinforcements he needs in the summer transfer window.

Koeman has played around with several formations this season and has eventually stuck with a 3-5-2 but is willing to revert to a more traditional Barca system.

The Barca boss met with president Joan Laporta where there was plenty of talk about systems and where it’s all gone wrong for the team in the last few games.

Koeman is already thinking about next season and thinks it is ”feasible” to change his set-up if he gets the “quality reinforcements” he has asked for in defense, midfield and attack.

The Dutchman wants Memphis Depay, Eric Garcia, and Giorginio Wijnaldum for next season with all three being free agents.
