Olmo returns to Barca after being ruled out of Spain clash
The forward has a knock
Dani Olmo has returned to Barcelona from the Spain national team after being ruled out of Sunday’s clash with Switzerland.
The forward sustained the problem last time out, with Luis de la Fuente confirming yesterday he has suffered a “bad knock.”
It’s now been decided he won’t play in Spain’s next Nations League fixture and will head back to his club side instead.
Tests have already revealed that it’s not a serious injury, and Barca will be glad to have Olmo back in the fold and will hope he can recover in time to face Girona on Sunday.
Spain face Switzerland later today in the Nations League and there’s speculation that Lamine Yamal could be rested for the game.
De la Fuente had some pretty strong words about resting Yamal at his press conference but hopefully sense will prevail and the teenager will be granted a breather.
