Coutinho’s agent critical of Barca over transfer rumors
The Brazilian has been continually linked with a move away
Philippe Coutinho, Kia Joorabchian, has had a bit of a pop at Barcelona regarding speculation over the Brazilian’s future at the club.
In an interview with the Telegraph, Joorabchian says he has spoken to president Josep Maria Bartomeu and was told the champions have “no intention” of selling Coutinho.
However, rumors persist that the Brazilian could leave the club this summer, and the agent feels Barca need to put a stop to the speculation.
“Coutinho’s camp are not actively looking to move him but we believe people inside Barcelona may be acting without authority to try and sell the player,” he said.
“Either Barcelona have to contain the people within their organisation who are giving out information to the contrary or they have to tell us the truth if they have changed their minds.”

Coutinho has spoken about his future over the summer, and his comments have done little to damped speculation he might leave.
He said during the Copa America he didn’t have a good season with Barca and added “we do not know what is going to happen” with his future.
