Griezmann says ‘finally our paths cross’ after sealing Barca move

The Atletico Madrid star swapped clubs on Friday

Antoine Griezmann seems to love appearing in videos and he’s popped up in yet another one with his first words as a Barcelona player.

The forward’s long-rumored move to the Camp Nou was announced on Friday with the Frenchman set to arrive at the club on Saturday.

He will be officially presented as a new Barcelona player on Sunday but ahead of all of that this is what he has had to say in the club’s little video.

“When I was a boy, my dad taught me that trains don’t come around just once,” he said.

“Now it’s time to take on the challenge of a new destination.

£Finally, our paths cross. I’ll defend the Barca colours with all my determination and commitment.

“It’s our time, this is our path.”

We will no doubt hear plenty more from Griezmann in the coming days as he arrives at his new club and then joins up with his team-mates for pre-season training on Monday.
