Rumors: Sergi Roberto, Todibo and Fabian Ruiz latest
The gossip just keeps on coming
Barcelona in Sergi Roberto talks with Juventus
Today’s rumors start with a real cracker from Sport who reckon that Barcelona are in talks with Juventus regarding a move for....Sergi Roberto.
The report goes on to say that the two clubs have been talking for a little while about various things and Barca are “open to letting the La Masia graduate leave.”
Juve are said to like Roberto for his versatility and reckon the 28-year-old is well aware of the interest from the Italian champions.
Todibo too expensive for Schalke
Over at Mundo Deportivo and the word is that Schalke have realised that signing Jean-Clair Todibo permanently from Barcelona just isn’t going to happen this summer.
The German club are keen to keep hold of him because he’s played well while on loan but are unable to meeting his purchase option of €25 million.
Bundesliga clubs are back in training now ahead of a possible return to action in May, and Schalke are hopeful of arranging another loan with Barca for Todibo.
Napoli want €100m for Fabian Ruiz
In Italy there is an update on the future of Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz who has attracted interest from Barcelona.
Yet Napoli are not interested in hearing from any clubs unless they are willing to spend at least €100m on Fabian, according to La Repubblica.
The midfielder is currently contracted to 2023, but Napoli want to give him a shiny new extension which will include a huge release clause.
Sampdoria keen on Juan Miranda
And finally we head back to Mundo Deportivo for a report that Sampdoria have reignited interest in Barca left-back Juan Miranda.
The defender is in the midst of a two-year loan at Schalke but has not featured much and could see his loan deal cut short.
If he does return to Barcelona then he could be on the move quickly again, with Sampdoria big fans of the 20-year-old.
