The Brazilian is expected back from his Bayern loan

Philippe Coutinho’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, has been talking about the Brazilian’s future and admits there have been no transfer talks for the 27-year-old yet.

The former Liverpool man is expected to return from Bayern Munich on loan in the summer, but it remains to be seen if he’ll stay at Camp Nou or leave for a new club.

Joorabchian said there is nothing going on with Coutinho at the moment but did add he expected the transfer market to kick into gear once competitions had resumed.

“At the moment, we have not spoken to anybody about any deals whatsoever,” he said.

“I think at the moment everyone’s concentration is regarding this pandemic and how football can restart the season in a secure environment and over the health and safety of everybody.

“I think the transfer side of things and where he will go or where people will go will come into play down the line when things have got back to some sort of normality.”

Reports have suggested Barcelona will only sell Coutinho in the summer if they receive an offer of €100m. There have been suggestions Chelsea are keen on the Brazilian and that he’d be happy to return to the Premier League.
