Riqui Puig, Trincao and Ansu Fati targeted by Betis - report

Could the youngsters be on the move?

Real Betis are reportedly targeting five Barcelona players in the summer transfer window including Ansu Fati, Riqui Puig and Francisco Trincao.

Carles Alena is already on loan at Rubi’s side, and could stay for another season, while Junior Firpo might be heading back to the Benito Villamarín Stadium, according to Sport.

The report also reckons that Puig “has asked” the Betis board to try and bring him in as he’s outgrown Barca B and won’t get enough minutes in the first team.

Betis have also asked about Ansu, although that seems unlikely, and have also talked to Barca about the possibility of loaning incoming youngsters Pedri and Trincao.

It’s not clear yet if Betis will get any of their targets. Barcelona are said to be waiting for pre-season to make a decision on which of their young stars will be staying for the new campaign.
