A Braithwaite exit is vital to a Depay entrance

The rumors are hotting up

Memphis Depay will be continually peppered with questions about moving to Barcelona, till it happens. This time he was with the Dutch national team and was asked again about moving to Barca.

“On Barça, I don’t know,” he said. “The transfer window is no open. My mind’s not on that. I am trying to be at my best, play well and become a better player. There’s a lot of speculation about.”

“Who would not want to play there? They’re one of the best teams in the world.”

His move might be an assumed one, but according to Sport, a key part of Depay’s move happening is Martin Braithwaite. The striker isn’t getting all that much playing time and offloading his salary will be important if a Depay move is to happen.
