Olmo and Victor included in Barca’s Super Cup squad
The duo are travelling to Saudi Arabia
Dani Olmo and Pau Victor have both been included in Barcelona’s squad for the Spanish Super Cup even though both players can’t currently play for the club.
Hansi Flick named his squad for the trip to Saudi Arabia on Monday morning, with the team now set to fly out for a semi-final date with Athletic Club on Wednesday.
Olmo and Victor also had to miss Saturday’s Copa del Rey win over Barbastro, but Barcelona are hoping to get them both registered this week.
The Catalans will go to court to appeal the decision by La Liga and the RFEF and hope to get it overturned in the coming days.
Also included in the squad are Lamine Yamal, Andreas Christensen, Hector Fort and Ferran Torres who have all been out through injury.
Marc Bernal is also on the list after reportedly asking Hansi Flick to be included so he could join the team for the trip as he continues his recovery from injury.
Young star Toni Fernandez is also on the squad list after making his first-team debut against Barbastro in the Copa del Rey.
